From a dıstance, Lodges carved ınto stone Tiny glowing human-made lights softly enlighten a part of the silent and vast terrains of Wadi Rum. Approaching these glowing interiors, the lodges appear with their angular ceiling lamps, in synchrony with the starry night of the deep dark valley. Elliptical, triangular, geometric and organic, the lodges nestled in carvings all seem different in shape and size, yet all are clear-cut. Although they seem to be on different levels from the ground, in essence they are embedded within the stone landscape with only 3 stories carved into the rocks: two stories are above ground, and one story is below ground.
