YAPI GENELINDE ALTERNATIF IÇ MEKAN ÇÖZÜMLERI ÜRETILMIŞ. ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS WERE PRODUCED IN THE INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION. placed on the outside to enter the space. The different floors of the building are interconnected via a transparent elevator and a marble staircase. Artificial landscape elements complement the general concept by adopting different context-specific functions on different floors. These include way-marking along the staircase, acting as background in the showroom, and space separation in the meeting room. The fractal geometry of the interiors complements the surface features of the façade. Such geometrical approach also dominates display windows and the empty space at the entrance, which brings to mind examples from the 1960’s L’Architecture Oblique movement. All of these features help contrasting elements coexist, to which the Gizia building owes its impact on visitors and inhabitants.
