Presenter: Estee Hernández

In light of these especially political times, there is a greater need for transformational and sustainable service that contributes to social change. Given our identity as a service organization, we must ask ourselves the following question: Does our community service help, or does it perpetuate the cycle of oppression? This workshop will feature small-group conversations with alumnae across professions, sharing their stories about how they practice social change within their fields. Attendees will reflect on their roles in social change, particularly in regards to their community service.
