Edmund Burke said, “People will not look forward to posterity who
never look backward to their ancestors.” Just as the JCL
recognizes ancient Rome’s impact on modern day society, the
Romans looked to the city of Troy as their inspiration and the
forefather of their society's legacy. On the fourth day of National
Classics Week, join your JCL friends in celebrating the great city of
Troy and appreciate the work that those before you have
contributed to the opportunities you have today.
