Nation is all about empowering woman and making them confident with who they are. I created this magazine with the vision of it being released in the future. I know many christian girls age 16+ who love to read and love fashion and would find something like this perfect.
In this magazine there are articles, look books, mood boards, quotes from 'role models' and my range plan, mission statement and other work I said I would complete. To make this magazine feel more real, I asked 2 of my friends who love to write, to write me an article. I gave them a broad area of things to write about and they both came back with amazing articles.
I wanted Nation to also be something that non-christians could read. One thing I got from peer feedback is that this idea is very specific, I didn't want to lose 1000's of readers and consumers because they are not Christians.
I also created a range plan for my clothing line. For this, I really wanted to focus on graphic t-shirts with very little on them. I have seen many Christian influencers or even just Christian brands that are not stylish or trendy. I would want this range to be something that could be sold on Depop or Asos and it's worn by anybody.
There are a lot of influencers who are openly Christians that have a lot of followers - they are perfect examples of people to feature in this magazine.
