year ’ s seminar selection offered a wide range of topics . To wrap up the day of education , dealers gathered to join Wells Fargo ’ s Charles Dougherty for the Keynote presentation . Dougherty captivated the crowd with an overview of the North American economy , market trends and challenges affecting dealers and lenders .
After Dealership Performance Training , it was time for drinks . Dealers filtered into the Dealer Happy Hour sponsored by Alcom , LLC , taking the time to unwind with industry peers before heading out on their first night in Nashville .
The following day , the expo hall doors finally made their long-awaited opening , revealing a bevy of new trailers , innovative products , a variety of exhibitors and more . After a day of product hunting and networking , dealers strolled downstairs to join the fun at the Dealer Reception sponsored by Redneck Trailer Supplies . The cocktail hour was accompanied by live entertainment , appetizers and a whole lot of fun .
To kick things off Friday morning , NATDA ’ s newest dealer members were provided breakfast and a chance to connect with NATDA ’ s Membership Manager , Leanna Koerner , and several of NATDA ’ s member benefit providers .
Shortly after , the Expo Hall doors opened for the last time at the show , giving dealers one final opportunity to meet with exhibitors . Some of the most sought-out exhibitors were those awarded the prestigious New Product of the Year Awards ; United Axle ’ s Serviceable Spindles took home the top prize while TecNiq , Inc . and Lion Energy received enough votes for second and third place , respectively .
While the 2021 iteration of the NATDA Trailer Show proved successful , it was only a precursor to what is to come for the industry moving forward .
