NATDA Trailer Show resulted in a smashing success for both dealers and exhibitors alike .
Beginning bright and early Wednesday morning with hands-on technical training , dealership technicians were presented with two workshop options . Dexter Axle ’ s Bill Snider covered servicing techniques for trailer axles , electric brake troubleshooting , and tow assist systems while Connected Correctly ’ s Chris Long conducted a focus group on the intricacies of hitch installation and servicing .
For everyone else , courses began mid-afternoon with a series of seminars covering the operational side of business . Attendees had the opportunity to hear from some of the top minds in the business , including Jack Patterson ( Ignited Services ), Kent Lewis ( Anvil Media ), Johnathan Aguero ( Blackpurl ), Ken Barnes ( DealerPro Training ), Sara Hey ( Bob Clements International ) and Graham Anderson ( Kenect ). New this year , NATDA introduced an exhibitors-only event in the inaugural Trailer Parts Expo . Taking place on the show floor , the twohour reception gave exhibitors the opportunity to network over food , drinks and live entertainment in the form of guitarist Kyle Mercer . The event even included a special address from NATDA President Andy Ackerman and National Accounts Manager Jonathan Spiller .
