the Fall of 1995 , father and son team Charles and Philip Teague began constructing trailers in a 5,000-square-foot shop forming Diamond T Trailer Manufacturing . One of the first things they agreed on was never to stray from viewing each dealer as a partner , not just a customer or a line item on a spreadsheet . Their second , but equally important , commitment was always to put quality before quantity when building trailers . With these thoughts as a guide , it is no wonder that for almost 28 years , Diamond T has been on a steady growth path .
