The journey for Ideal Cargo Inc . began soon after Yves Bergeron started his family-operated trailer dealership in 1999 . He set his sights on manufacturing his own brand of trailers and began securing the space and equipment necessary .
He started with what are considered “ traditional ” steel and tin / aluminum cargo trailers . After experiencing his fair share of success , he wanted to completely set his trailers apart from the competition , so 12 years ago he began galvanizing the entire frame of each trailer . Every frame is dipped into a 10 ’ x 10 ’ x 60 ’ pool of zinc-infused liquid , providing the ultimate corrosion resistance for the structure .
