ALCOM Number One in Enclosed Trailer Market Share Growth for 2018
Coinciding with the 2019 NATM Convention & Trade Show, Statistical Surveys announced
that ALCOM LLC achieved the largest enclosed trailer market share increase for the 2018
calendar year.
Daniel Mills, the organization’s National Sales Director, acknowledged a number of factors
that attributed to the company’s strong year-over-year growth. “Though aluminum
enclosed trailers have traditionally been viewed as a niche market, thirteen consecutive
years of growth is proof of our dealer network’s steadfast commitment to trading
consumers up to better trailers. We are extremely lucky to have such a loyal dealer
base from coast-to-coast and truly appreciate their daily efforts in growing the aluminum
segment, and our businesses together”.
The award was presented on the heels of ALCOM’s announcement that they’d begun
expansion into an additional 30,000 square foot manufacturing space. The new building
will house welding operations for all products built at their Winslow, Maine facility.
Combining expanded manufacturing capacity with strong sales numbers through the first
quarter, ALCOM is poised to compete for the top growth spot again in 2019.
