Booth #549 Neckover Trailers has manufactured steel trailers since 1973. Throughout its 47-year history, the company has added equipment trailers, hay trailers feeders and truck beds to their product lineup. It takes pride in producing equipment that is #BullTuff, a phrase it feels embodies the strength and durability of each product it manufactures. “We use our products, meaning our company fleet and our personal trucks have Neckover truck beds. We use our own stock trailers. We haul hay with our own hay trailers,” shared general manager Russell Czajkoski. “We want our products to hold up, whether we’re the ones whipping on them or our customers.” Lacy Young, Neckover’s Marketing and Public Relations Director, feels that the company’s craftsmanship and durability set it apart from its competitors. “We see trailers from 1973 roll through our service station that are literally coming in for new paint, rubber flooring or axle upgrades. 24 Their structure is solid and hasn’t budged in 47 years. That’s what #BullTuff means – long-lasting, multi-generation durability.” Czajkoski has echoed this sentiment with an explanation of Neckover’s manufacturing process. According to him, “Each product gets a fully welded steel frame.” Neckover doesn’t use stitch-welding or caulking compared to some manufacturers. Neckover’s fully-welded frame provides a moisture barrier that reduces the amount of rot on the sidewalls – a notorious problem in stock trailers. “Historically, we haven’t had those issues because we’re above the manure line and provide a more robust structure,” Czajkoski said. Currently, the majority of Neckover’s dealership partners spread across the Southeast. However, the company aims to grow into the Midwest in 2020. Neckover “hand-selects” its network of dealers, choosing to work only with dealerships that meet certain criteria. NATDA Magazine www.natda.org
