My first working experience was with Leandro V. Locsin and Partners (LVLP). I got promoted
to group leader and was sent to Brunei in 1981, to oversee and supervise the construction
of The Grand Palace of HRH Sultan Hasanal Bolkiah. I then ventured to Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia in 1983, applied to Hajeedar and Associate and was hired instantly because of
the good reference I got from LVLP. I held the position of Architect and was involved in
Design, Coordination and Contract Administration for several prestigious projects. I then
joined KSSB as a Senior Architect in 1991, to work on a Dream Project called “Petronas
Twin Tower” in KLCC, working in collaboration with Caesar Pelli Architects (USA). In 2002,
I joined RSP Architects and started as a Senior Architect and eventually promoted to a
Senior Associate along the way. In 2007, I became an Architect Graduate Member of
Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) and Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) similar to our
UAP and PRC respectively. In the year 2011, I formed UAP KL Chapter and was officially
inducted by UAP National in 18 May 2013.
