As we celebrate our 37th National Convention with the theme “Reinventing
S.O.A.: Service-Oriented Architecture,” we are once again reminded of our
duties and responsibilities to serve our beloved organization. Every active
and legitimate Filipino architect must instill in his/her self the true culture of
Service, that which is motivated from the inside through self–initiative and
not the type of service that is award or recognition-oriented. Once the goal
is focused on award and recognition, service becomes merely a competition
and not a dedication towards providing goodness for others.
Let us therefore make this event an occasion to once again make a
sincere and committed pledge to be a role model of a service-oriented
Filipino architect!
I would like to make this opportunity to congratulate the organizing
committee led by Executive Director for Convention and Conferences, Arch.
Roger Ong, UAP, and Convention Director, Lora Rivera, FUAP, for the well
-organized and very innovative convention program and for making this one
of the best UAP National Convention ever.
Kudos also goes to the National Board of Directors under the leadership
of Arch. Ramon S. Mendoza, FUAP, who have defined Service the way it
should be.
Congratulations! Ang galing ng ARKITEKTONG PILIPINO! Mabuhay ang
UAP! God Bless us All!
