On behalf of Natal Nomads committee and members of Natal Nomads we offer our condolences to the recent passing of Derek Airey.
Derek will always be remembered with respect as a remarkable gentleman, always willing to contribute in his own way to NATAL NOMADS,
regardless of the health challenges he dealt with on a daily basis. He always had a positive outlook on life and tried to live it to the fullest.
Derek was our photographer, and through his lens would capture rewarding moments, reflecting camaraderie and friendship, it was not uncommon
to see him still swinging a club on the teebox with his ventilator beside him, It is with sadness that the Committee and all in Nomads reflects upon
Derek Airey as our stalwart photographer, an inspirational gentleman and friend, our condolences to his family and friends – no man is an island.
