National tournament feedback :
The national tournament planning is moving along steadily , with the focus on concluding the completion of accommodation on offer at competitive rates . Early planning of the lady ’ s tours is underway . An electronic scoring system for the tournament is being investigated
Composite league feedback :
The composite league for this year has been suspended
General Due to covid lockdown , the rule of 1 person per cart at Cotswold downs , necessitated the swop to Windsor golf club for the July game , The Cotswold downs monthly game will now be played on the 21 st October 2021
The committee was advised that there is now a NATEX social media group and we are invited to send items of interest , long standing awards etc .
After a lengthy conversation the committee has decided on the following rule for the Joker Draw ONLY NATAL PLAYING NOMADS MAY ENTER THE JOKER DRAW . SHOULD THE JOKER CARD BE DRAWN THE WINNING NATAL NOMAD WILL RECEIVE 100 % OF THE JACKPOT PROVIDING HE IS PRESENT AT PRIZE GIVING . IF NOT PRESENT HE WILL RECEIVE 50 % AND THE BALANCE WILL GO FORWARD TO THE FOLLOWING MONTHS JACKPOT . VISITING NOMADS , VISITORS , PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS , ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JOKER DRAW AT ANY TIME .
The committee once again urges the participation of new local sponsors , offering an opportunity to advertise in the Nomads Newsletter , Nomads website , NATAL NOMADS monthly golf event and possibly NATAL NOMADS NATIONALS 2022 event .
