Our A Division winner off a 7-handicap scoring 39 Points was Eddie Wentzel. B Division on 34 Points off a 13 was Johan Roux. Rounding off the winners in C Division on 35 Points off a 19 was Arnie ‘The Mexican Reporter’ Neveling. Very well played! In other news, 15 Natal Nomads had the distinct pleasure of attending the 6 th Swaziland National Tournament from the 19 th to the 21 st of October. We left a couple of hours after our prize giving at RDGC where 11 of us played 18 holes at Nkonyeni Golf Estate in what is fast becoming a tradition on our way up to Royal Swazi Sun. I have been honoured to attend a number of Swazi Nationals now and every year they just seem to get better and better. Congratulations to Kevin Sprague and his team, this is one of the most impressive events in the Nomads Annual calendar. For those of you who have not attended one as yet I can highly recommend it…we will however need to figure a way to get you a spot for next year as I doubt very much anyone is going to relinquish theirs in a hurry. Last but certainly not least, my travels also took me down to Southbroom on the 9 th of October where I was privileged to fly the Natal Nomads flag at Doug Milne’s 650 th Game. There are no superlatives to describe this achievement adequately. Congratulations once again Mr. Milne from Natal Nomads! Our next game on the 22 nd of November will be played at Mount Edgecombe Country Club. Please also note that not only will the legendary Daryl Francois be our fines master, but our National Chairman Mr. Andrew Bullen will also be in attendance, as a result I have no doubt we can expect there to be a large field accompanied by full attendance at prize giving.
