On the restart Chimchim17h would assume the lead for the first time this season but would not capitalize by leading his first lap of the year. Pole sitter Megatron8121 would grab the lead for the first time and lead for 6 laps before a caution for timothy008 having trouble on the backstretch. Megatron8121 and Chimchim17h would stay out as the rest pitted and this strategy doomed them as the race then went green for 20 laps with Megatron8121 falling a lap down after spinning.
A caution with 20 laps to go gave Megatron the lucky dog, and bunched the field back up. A late race caution would set up a green white checkered and race leader oddball1791 stayed out but 2nd place megatron8121 would pit. Chimchim and Webbs would also stay out in hopes to grab victory.
On the restart Oddball1791 jumped ahead with Webbs following. Megatron would get by Chim off turn 2 and would pass Webbs in 3. Coming off turn two, oddball and megatron were nose to tail. Megatron would then set up oddball in 3 and get a run off 4 and tag him as they exited the corner. Oddball1791 was sent flying through the grass as Megatron8121 locked up his brakes. Webbs6212 and timothy008 squirted through the wreck but it was oddball crossing the line through the grass for the victory.t we

lupeg575 takes Cali
The 4th race of the CPR Sprint Cup Series would stay out west for the 3rd consecutive week as the drivers took on California for the Auto Club 80. A record high 9 drivers would show up which would fill the race
with alot of action, but also alot of cautions.
A new driver to the league, lupeg575 would quickly show he was going to be one of the drivers to beat. Posting the fastest lap in practice, and also grabbing his 1st career pole with a 37.84. Also new driver swagger-racing26 would grab second, followed by jamiedobbs911, megatron8121, and bobby_buschfan72.
The race started out calm as the drivers settled in quickly, but it didn’t take long for things to get out of hand. Megatron8121 would tag the wall and collect a few drivers on lap 3 and after that it was just an array of cautions. A season high 13 cautions would slow the race pace down considerably.
From the start there were three drivers who seemed to set theirselves apart, those being polesitter lupeg, jamiedobbs, and points leader oddball1791. Lupeg and jamiedobbs would run in the top 3 all race with oddball having problems late but would have his chance to rebound.
Middle of the pack action between swagger-racing26, webbs6212, chadrick32, bobby_buschfan72, and megatron8121 would be the highlight of the race as the top 3 stunk up most of the show being just a tad bit faster than everyone.
The final caution would come out on lap 49 setting up a green white checkered in which Lupeg575 would lead the field to the green. Jamiedobbs911 followed closely but was not able to seal the deal as Lupeg575 would hold off the charge and take his first victory. Dobbs would finish 2nd, followed
