Couch Potato Racing Season 1 Recap- by Jamie Dobbs

Couch Potato Racing completed a successful first season of its DrinkNOS Cup Series on Nascar The Game: Inside Line. The season spanned 21 points races, with two exhibition races sprinkiled among the regular points events.

In total, 16 drivers participated in the DrinkNOS Cup Series' innagural season. Nine drivers scored at least one victory, with 7 different drivers winning at least one pole. Leading the victory count was jamiedobbs911 with seven wins. Lupeg575 led the series in qualifying, racking up 10 poles.

Lupeg575 led the series when the five-race Chase began, and never surrendered the point lead. In its five races, the Chase saw four different drivers win.

For the first time in their DrinkNOS Cup Series careers at CPR, megatron8121 and JrFurr29 scored victories at Atlanta and Watkins Glen respectively.

Eventual champion, Lupeg575 took a Chase checkered flag at Kentucky. Two victories for jamiedobbs911 at Bristol and Homestead-Miami wasn't enough to catch Lupeg575.

With the first season in the books, CPR looks to improve and build upon the success. Drivers showcased many talents over the course of the season, and everyone is looking forward to another great bid for the DrinkNOS Cup Series championship.
