Nascar on Gran Turismo 5
The Nascar Inside Line Racing Series is hoping to take Nascar global on Gran Turismo 5. The series has made several attempts to add GT5 to league activities, and is committed to making this one work.
Testing is currently underway as NIL organizers work to determine which tracks are suited to the heavy stock cars. Consultants seasoned in GT5 are also being brought in to help set the format for the races.
September 11th Tribute: 2013 Edition
Work is underway to plan the 2nd Running of the September 11th Tribute event. The special event is likely to see a change from the typical tribute held within NIL, in that just a single race is being looked. The date and time, as well as specifics are still under review at press time.
The September 11th Tribute will be an open race, with participants in friend leagues and friends of entrants permitted to race.
The event will not be counted towards regular league points, but will count towards a driver's tallied statistics.
Dan Wheldon Tribute: 2013 Edition
NIL will be hosting a the 2nd Running of the Dan Wheldon Tribute event at Las Vegas. The race length and format will be determined at a later date.
The Dan Wheldon Tribute will be an open race, with participants in friend leagues and friends of entrants permitted to race.
The event will not be counted towards regular league points, but will count towards a driver's tallied statistics.
