Season Six Preview

NIL is ready to take the green
The Nascar Inside Line Racing Series is set to kick off its sixth season of racing. Active since July 2011, NIL has evolved to meet demands brought forth by the Nascar The Game franchise, as well as those of entrants. Season Six will see the biggest overhaul to date.
NIL will move to a one-race-a-week schedule, changing from the multiple nights of seasons gone by. The schedule will still take the same period of time to complete, with 10 races scheduled over a 10 weeks time.
NIL's 10-race schedule will follow the real world Nascar Sprint Cup Series Chase schedule.
Also being new in NIL's sixth season is the addition of a separate division. The Grand National Series will run in conjunction with the already existent Cup Series. The two series, divided by the use of in-game assists, will race together but be scored individually. GN drivers will compete with one another, while Cup drivers will be battling amongst themselves.
This is an attempt at maintaining NIL's belief to maintain a respect for player preference, but is created as a result of a defect in the assists of Nascar The Game: Inside Line.
Another new change for players loyal to NIL is a move away from allowing custom schemes. Drivers will choose in-game cars based on a list dividing the various cars by GN or Cup. Custom schemes will still see use in the form of weekly contests, with open voting determining an off track race rundown. Bonus points will be made available in the contests.
NIL is accepting entries for Season Six. Inquires can be sent to [email protected].
