Built in 1855 as City Hall, Hudson Hall is New York State's oldest surviving theater—a storied landmark whose magnificent auditorium once hosted Ralph Waldo Emerson, Susan B. Anthony, Theodore Roosevelt, and Frederic Edwin Church. After decades of abandonment, the building was rescued and restored by local citizens, reopening its 385-seat theater in 2017. Today, Hudson Hall is a cultural destination offering a year round program of performance, film, visual art, and community programming. The Hudson Jazz Festival draws legendary and emerging performers to a citywide celebration; its Handel on the Hudson series has earned multiple NYTimes Critics' Picks for its baroque opera productions.
Hudson Hall’s galleries present exhibitions by international, regional, and local contemporary artists. Past exhi- itions include Wolfgang Tillmans, Christian Marclay, Michael Lindsay Hogg, Sita Gómez, and Corinne May Botz.

Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM) is a cultural institution and nonprofit sanctuary of Visionary Art set on 40 acres in the Hudson Valley of New York, founded by internationally recognized artists Alex Grey & Allyson Grey. CoSM is home to Entheon, a stunning 12,000 sq ft, three-story museum featuring the permanent collection of the Greys' art, alongside rotating exhibitions of visionary artists from around the world. On the third floor, the Sacred Mirrors series of paintings is displayed beneath a cathedral-
esque latticework ceiling and surrounded by a quartz crystal moat. Beyond the museum, CoSM offers workshops, a bed & breakfast, wooded hiking trails, a small labyrinth, outdoor art installations, the Mushroom Café, and regular community events including Full Moon Gatherings and Art Church. The All Things Oz Museum is located in the birthplace of author L. Frank Baum who wrote the American Fairy Tale The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The museum has everything from first edition books, to the silent film era movies; the 1939 MGM classic munchkin actor's appearance costumes to props and costumes from The Wiz, Oz The Great and Powerful, The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, OzLand, After The Wizard, Wicked and more. The museum's foundation holds over 18,000 pieces in the collection with 1,500-1,600 on exhibit at any time.
