NAED Education & Research Foundation Releases New Resources Research is an essential tool for any business to thrive and grow. It provides the company’s decision makers with crucial information needed for informed business decisions about their companies and the industry at large. That is why the work done by the NAED Education & Research Foundation is so important. The NAED Foundation lays the groundwork necessary for the industry’s future by providing comprehensive resources and research. Thanks to the support and insight of NAED membership, 2013 was another great year of insightful industry-specific research. The Channel Advantage Partnership (CAP) released resources including the Talent Management Review & Toolkit, which is now available on the NAED Employee Lifecycle Page. The 2010 Theft & Fraud research report was also updated with a mix of interesting results, including new information on cyber crimes and security. For example, what remains the greatest source of loss for companies? • Shoplifting by customers (54%) THE CURRENT : WINTER 2014 • Employee theft (50%) • Sales process fraud (27%) • Burglaries, break-ins and thefts (38%) In another project, the importance of understanding terms and conditions was further discussed during the October webinar thanks to David Maxwell, District VP of Graybar, and Ronald Rucker, Carmody, MacDonald, P.C.
