Jenna Noel

The Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec is proud to single out a youth in the Caribbean community of Montreal who has been very active with the Spice Island Cultural Festival and who is looked upon as a young leader and student of excellence in Montreal ’ s Black Community .
16-year-old Jenna Noel is a Secondary 5 student at College Villa Maria . She loves playing sports and singing . She has composed and recorded her first song at the tender age of four , and sings at various community events . At the age of 7 Jenna performed the Grenada and Canada National Anthems for the Prime Minister of Grenada when he visited Montreal . In 2014 , Jenna performed at the Grenada Day in the Park in Brooklyn New York to rave reviews .
She is a volunteer at the Philip E . Layton School for the blind . She also helps the children in Montreal ’ s Black community by
tutoring them in math and other subjects , ensuring they be the best they can be .
Jenna also assists her mother , songwriter and performer , Jenny Noel , with backing up various singers and teaching children to sing a joyful song .
Jenna hopes one day to be a lawyer and also to make singing and acting a big part of her career .
