PLACES OF INTEREST Balata Cathedral Built in 1925, this impressive cathedral on the hill is a miniature version of the Sacred Heart Basilica in Paris. This is a popular site, with tourists coming here to admire this wonderfully constructed building and also the beautiful view of Fort de France and the surrounding lush tropical forests.
