Regional Museum of Volcanoes This is a museum which tells about the volcanic activity of Mt. Pelee, complete with a film about the 1902 eruption. It is a small but interesting place to visit with exhibits and photographs depicting the destruction of the city - over 20,000 residents died during that eruption. The museum now organizes guided hikes up the mountain where visitors are sure to be pleased to see scenic views of the northern part of the island. Photo Credit: Rachel B.
