Exhibitions?
“The island
is my gallery”
I had an exhibition once in a local restaurant
here on the island and as I was meeting people a
gentleman asked me “how can you be this good
on an island that does not support you as an
artist, how do you survive”. My answer was that
my work does not stay here. I have clients in all
corners of the globe. I have photos of my work
hanging on a wall in New York, London, Egypt,
Atlanta, Australia. I have travelled and done
murals in houses as close as St. Kitts, Anguilla,
and St. Martin to as far as Miami and Dubai. In
Nevis, whether you arrive by air or by sea you will
be greeted by my murals. From sign work, names
on busses, drawings or even my portrait wall of
fame in the local bakery, my work is displayed
all over the island. The island is my gallery and I
post my new pieces online and whenever I do I
receive positive feedback and they are gone in
a flash.
