Turk, and zig-zagging south-westward to
the laid back hideaway where animals roam
amongst people like family, and time has
stood still for decades, is the smallest inhabited
of the 40 Islands and cays of the Turks and Caicos

The winds blow further north-westward, caressing
the underpopulated fishing town of South Caicos,
where the remnants of salt production remain
symbolic of a culture that once shaped the economy
of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
