According to the Texas Wildlife Association (TWA), the future of Texas wildlife and natural resources lay in the hands of youth.

Texas AgriLife Extension Service, through

4-H school enrichment programs, has partnered with TWA to deliver hands-on, science-based interactive lessons to 3,150 students at local schools such as BASIS, Braun Station, Galm, Highland Park Gifted and Talented, Knox, and Regency Place. 4-H Ambassadors are a special group of selected youth (ages 12 -18) who represent and promote Texas and local 4-H programs at various events. They strive to promote 4-H and encourage other youth to become actively involved in their communities. By doing so, they gain valuable advocacy and leadership skills they can share with their families and peers. The current local 4-H Ambassadors are: Hope Best, Audra Blazicko, Dierdre Duffy, Kolton and Isabella Faulkner, Barrett Hunt, Callie Jacob, Robert Rosas, Courtney Wanke, and Eric Warner.
