Taxes Due
The next due date for prop-
erty taxes is May 1. The Tax
Collector’s Office will extend
their hours to 8 p.m. on May 6.
As always, the last day to pay
to avoid interest charges is
the 10th of the month. If you
would like a receipt for your
tax payment the entire tax bill
must be submitted at the time
of payment or your cancelled
check will be your receipt.

AGE-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES AHEAD
In the months ahead Age-Friendly Englewood
will convene interested individuals to serve as
“ambassadors” for the program, and will develop
a Social Isolation Task Force to work with City
agencies and the Fire Department to combat isolation
among the elderly.
Englewood was named a member of the WHO/
AARP Global Network of Age-Friendly Communi-
ties last November. Age-Friendly Englewood is a
community-wide project that is working to ensure

that residents of Englewood can age-in-place in their
homes and in the community with dignity and inde-
pendence. Age-Friendly Englewood seeks to help
the community become more livable for people of all
ages, with particular attention to the rapidly growing
number of older adults.
Age-Friendly Englewood continues to work closely
with organizations, individuals and agencies of city
government to help Englewood truly become a great
place to grow up and grow old.
