babies. The title of the video is Ryan Reynolds’ Baby Calls Him Mama and since they both have
babies, they talk about the struggles and the fun bits of being dads, but they do so in a very
hilarious way: by arguing that children are loved more by their dads than by their mothers and by

Despite the fact that the video is portraying an actual interview where Jimmy Fallon is
interviewing Ryan Reynolds, the entire clip looks and sounds more like a really friendly and
somewhat personal conversation between two hilarious men who happen to be fathers. The
language is very casual and informal, and they use a lot of informal words to emphasize their
statements, such as “freaking” and “oh my god.” Their interview and the overall show is actually
aimed for an audience that is quite mature, so young adults and older, and this is because the
show is actually aired late in the evening, hence its title, and they also use quite vulgar

Ryan is a bit more composed, however he also uses a lot of hand gestures when telling the
personal stories and when he is trying to point out something funny. Their conversation is very
upbeat and entertaining, and their choice of words indicates that the show is intended for a
mature audience.
