International Companion Animal Welfare Conference (ICAWC) in Barcelona in 2013 and in
Portugal in 2015, which is a major conference taught by that field’s professionals from all over
the world. Moreover, we have undoubtedly successfully promoted adoption of stray dogs and
cats, and since the year 2011, the DINGO team provided the adoption of more than three
thousand stray animals in Armenia. Many of our goals have been met, but we always strive
towards improvement and we need to go forward by helping more and more animals as we
possibly can.
Our immense and passionate dedication towards animal welfare is what made us the
largest and the most prevalent organization dealing with and caring for stray animals in Armenia.
Among myriad objectives that our organization possesses, one of the most important ones is our
zealous and determined attempt to make our nation more open to adopting pets rather than
buying them, in order to decrease the quite disturbing case of overpopulation pf stray dogs and
cats. Thus, the condition of stray animals in Armenia is rather bleak at the moment and we strive
to do everything within our powers to improve this state by creating a more positive attitude
towards pet adoption among the citizens of our country. And once we get enough finances
through your generous donation, we will be able to finance our new shelter home in order to give
our faithful friends, our cats and dogs, an appropriate place to stay and sufficient food to fill their
bellies with.
