Rib Eating Competition
While your at South Bank , one of my favourites is the Plough Inn . Each year the run The Annual Rib Eating Competition . 20 Selected contestants will compete for the chance to win A YEAR OF RIBS !! Contestants must eat 2kgs ( 4 racks ) of ribs and the first to finish wins ! ** Our extra picky judges must deem that all bones have been stripped of all meat to a satisfactory level - no shortcuts …* Get in early on the day to register - limited places available !
Enjoy Australia Day the way it was meant to be at Suttons Beach , Redcliffe . This FREE EVENT will take place from 2pm - 8pm . LIVE MUSIC Sink your teeth into live music from Juzzie Smith , Little Georgia , and Fat Picnic , to name a few . GAMES AND ACTIVITIES Have a ball with garden games including Giant Jenga , Giant Beer Pong , and Tic Tac Toe . OR hit the beach for some traditional Beach Cricket , Beach VolleyBall , and Beach Sack Races . Keep your eyes open for the Lamington Eating Contest and the crazy TOILET RACES . FIREWORKS The evening will finish with a brilliant fireworks display from 7.30pm .
