4. PDP framework
This lesson framework helps
teachers plan and deliver
effective listening, video and
reading
lessons.
The
framework is based on
research and using it helps
ensure
students
are
motivated, engaged and active
before, while and after (pre,
during and post – PDP)
listening to, watching or
reading a text .
5. Teaching languages
Languages are different and
there are a great deal of
languages around the world.
"Languages cannot be taught,
they can only be learnt. The
best way is to tell students
right away that they are
responsible for their own
learning process, and the
teacher is just a guide who has
to motivate them."
I think that the PDP framework
is a good way to develop
classes, and it is not
complicated because you can
create only three activities for
your students, so you can save
time with this framework. We
as student of teaching practice
used this kind of planning in
our context and we learned
about it.
We had a good experience in
teaching languages like Arabic,
Lebanese, Chinese and others.
We researched the basic of
each language (Alphabet,
numbers, and colors). The
most difficult thing in some
cases was the pronunciation
because it’s not similar with
the written way. However,
every of us learnt a little bit of
each determined language.
