Lines of Pinner, in the High Street, held a day of activities on August 17 to mark it reaching an incredible landmark. The family run business which specialises in wallpaper, curtains and blinds has been passed down from generation to generation and now brother and sister team Jared and Kara Lines run the store. Their birthday celebrations featured free limited art prints, arts and crafts Kara Lines told Your Pinner News more. She said: “We had a great turnout and all the kids got really involved in the art activities led by Stitch London. We’d expected bad YouNgsTers enjoyed the weather for the arts and crafts activities whole afternoon, luckily there was only one downpour and JiveSwing carried on dancing regardless. Lots of people came to give us their congratulations and appreciated the rarity of a shop lasting as long as ours has.” The day was a big suCCess with local children Kevin Carroll from Barclays Bank said: “It’s an incredible achievement to keep a business going for this length of time.
