There are about 12 haciendas that receive tourism and show the mysticism that surrounds the elaboration of pulque. Some of the haciendas, to build your route and take note are the Hacienda Santiago Chimalpa, whose facade was created by Antonio Rivas Mercado, architect of the famous Angel of Independence in Mexico City.

Another must-see is the Tetlapayac ranch that was able to produce, at its best, 25 thousand liters of pulque per day. The route continues with the former hacienda San Antonio Tocha, and the haciendas of San Marcos, in Epazoyucan, Santa María Tecajete and San Bartolomé de los Tepetates, the latter has one of the best preserved helmets of the sixteenth century, in Tepeapulco.
