your day on the water.
Paddle boarding is so much more than strapping on the leash and gliding your
paddle through the water. All-day iSUP trips to any corner of the earth can fall
short of your expectations if you don’t equip your body and board with the

Warm Weather SUP Gear You’ve Gotta Have
Dressing for a summer paddle board session is a lot less work than preparing
for a cold weather paddle. Although, it’s important to protect yourself from
strong UV rays and bring a cooler full of cold water.
Wear a swimsuit underneath your clothing for a quick dip when you
start to overheat
Look for a moisture-wicking, SPF shirt and shorts that will protect
your skin and won’t limit mobility
Wear a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face and eyes from the
sun
Attach your sunglasses to a sunglass strap to make sure you don’t
lose them in the water
Protect your feet with water shoes if you plan to walk on the bottom
of the lake, river or waterway where you intend to paddle
Protective sunscreen is one of the most important parts of any iSUP
experience (pro tip: throw your sunscreen in the cooler so it’s nice
and cold when you rub it on your skin)
Pack plenty of ice, water and a water bottle that stays cold for
extended periods of time
