Moving on to the question that everyone was waiting for since the beginning – who will sit on the iron throne? And after hundreds of speculations, the answer is... no one. and I don't mean Arya Stark, I mean no one at all because our beloved dragon, Drogon, didn't give anyone a chance and burned it down to lava. That is, in my opinion, the best conclusion to the obsession over this ugly chair. But there has to be a king, right? And for sure the show sticks to its genius nature – The Unexpected. The one who is CHOSEN to be king is Bran Stark. Me, a Jon Snow admirer, say: "The HELL with the ones who shouts 'boo!' For bran being the king. If Jon Snow would be king than it'll just be fan service and that is BORING".

The shows conclude with a beautiful montage of Jon snow at the wall, Arya Stark on a ship going west and Sansa Stark crowned queen in the north. The key word to all great endings for me is: CLOSURE. And as sweet as it can be, nothing's like remembering the beginning. In season 1 Sansa said that the thing she wanted the most is being a queen, and through her evolvement she finally became one… in the place she cared about the most. Arya Stark always wanted to be a warrior and explore what's beyond the sea, and finally she's fulfilling it. Finally, the one who is closing the show is Jon Snow. Through his development, from a bastard to a steward to a lord commander to a king, he ends where he started – The wall. As I said, many did not like that ending. They disliked it because in their words it wasn't "epic". It was epic to me but the important point is that we can all agree that the whole journey was epic. And again, Game of Thrones consistently shows us the unexpected. The unexpected in this kind of a show is having a peaceful ending.

So before you judge, look deeply and remember that the greatest show of all time doesn't do anything by accident.
