to study under the anointing of the Holy Spirit there is the tendency that we could
achieve 100% accuracy in the use of the Bible.
The following assertions will aid our understanding of the truth and falsehood
among those that handle Text of the Bible.
1. The Realm of Biblical Truth:
If we fail to follow Biblical truth we are likely to be the victims of Scriptural
falsehood. In order word s if we
do not stay in the realm of Biblical truth
falsehood is inevitable.
2. Biblical truths are difficult to difficult to discern. This is because, they do
not confirm to our thinking and reasoning faculties. Example of Matthew 16: 17.
Here, the truth has to be revealed to Apostle Peter to be able to access the truth
about the essence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
but my Father which is in heaven.
3. Biblical truths are revelation knowledge given by the Holy Spirit. The
Apostle Paul recognized the role of revelation knowledge in the process of
establishing Biblical truth. He specially prayed for the Ephesian Church to be
endowed with the ability to use the Bible correctly and accurately.
Ephesians 1: 17-18
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit
of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding
being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
The text denotes that in order to understand Biblical truth; we must operate under the
wisdom of God and the knowledge imparted into our heart by the Holy Spirit.
4. Sensual understanding does not comprehend spiritual truth. This is because
Biblical truths are spiritually discerned. See John16: 13
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will
show you things to come.
Unless the Holy Spirit moderates our intellects the possibility of the mind being
influenced by our environment and satanic interference cannot be rule out. We
found Apostle Peter comes under a heavy influence of Satan to withstand the Lord
