STUDENTS ACT ROMEO AND JULIET
Are there how many milestone in someone's
life who will be 18 in soon? Meeting with Erasmus was
one of the important thing in my life.
teamwork. Twenty-three students are on stage, director,
music,stage and costume designers.We were big cast!
When you are on stage, you feel as if you are in a
magical world .You are not the person who you are, you
are who you act. you think like her, you feel the same
how she feels.
The story began when I saw the project poster
in front of the school.I always wanted to be a part of a
project like this in my life and ıt was Erasmus.I always
wanted to know about other
cultures and wanted to know
what other people from diffrent
countiries think about Turkey,my
country. That was a big chance to
do all of that..
If you do your best, you will
deserve the big applauds that
people show their appreciaton
for you after the play.Also ,I will
never forget the time we spent
behind the stage. I made lots of
amazing friendships there.and
unforgettable memories.
In one of the meetings
teacher said that “There will be
theatre of Romeo and Juliet in
our school this year.” If you are
someone who always dream being on the stage, you
have to take at least one role. After the competition ,
suprise…. I was Juliet!
Now I am 18 and ıf someone
asks me what did you leave behind
you? I am sure my anwer will be "I had a considerable
stage experience".
Theatre not only gave me a wonderful
experience but also I won a chance to go to abroad for
the first time. But the most important thing for me is that
I took the first step to the way that goes to my dreams.
Thank you to my teacher and all of the friends who are
the part of this project to give this opportunity to me.
It began with no negation but as time goes
some friends stopped coming regularly to the rehearsals
just because of the lessons and the exams.We were so
excited and hopeful at the beginning of it but our hope
was running out slowly. Howewer we got through all of
that with my teacher's effort and some of my friends'
determination and finally we managed an amazing
