makes me truly happy is expanding my
knowledge of life. In any sense. My day
is a good day if I have learned something
new or broadened my knowledge in
some subject. I believe that everything in
the universe is connected, so the better
you get the picture the better you will
be in everything that you do. Speaking
of a good day, it is also better if you
can share these positive feelings with
somebody. The feeling of love is all
that we need. The more you feel it really
about all things surrounding, the more
feel-good emotions, people, happenings

rural Wisconsin. I married my husband,
Brian, in August 2008. I currently work
as a therapist for children and families
(mental health) and became a Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC) in
February 2010. In May-June 2009, my
husband and I took a trip to Bulgaria and
Albania, and it was the first time I had
been back since 2001. It was beautiful
and so much fun to share the culture,
history, and sights with him, as well as
to see all the changes that had occurred.
Hopefully it will not be our last visit!’

shared:
‘The
developing world, in particular Africa, is
what fascinates me. As an international
development economist, I’ve had the joy
to do projects in Tanzania, South Africa,
Ghana, India, New Zealand, Mexico
and Brazil. One of the topics I explore
is the potential for the private sector to
bring about viable solutions to complex
issues, such as youth unemployment,
environmental degradation and poverty.
Travel allows me to tap into the rich,
complex and beautiful fabric of life of
places far away from home. But most of
all, I like the sense of understanding the
needs and aspirations of the people I
work with. And I like dancing!’
I live in Sofia, study architecture, which
I love more and more everyday (3
semesters to go), and travel anytime
when I get the chance. I got 2000
original vinyls, which makes me a real
music lover… Wow... I’m also working
on some cultural projects, spreading arts
among young people. I’m a manager of
the Sleepwalkingz crew, who are some of
the best (street, but not only) dancers in
Bulgaria. I got a telescope and wait for
the summer to discover the sky.’
