The Ministries of The Sisters of
St. Dominic of Amityville are
both local and global in scope
and offer creative solutions to the
complex and often controversial
issues of our times.
Ministries focus on literacy,
environmental sustainability,
environmental education,
family support services,
eliminating homelessness, and
access to affordable health care.
Sisters serve as administrators,
volunteers and staff at Good
Samaritan Hospital, Nassau
University Medical Center,
Maryhaven Center of Hope,
AHRC, Neumann Residence,
and Hope House Ministries,
to name a few. Additional
ministries include:
