After one year of retirement and a plethora of plumbing projects, I realized that I missed working in schools. I love the complexities of an International school and its inherent challenges delight me.
More than anything. I missed children.
When I came to IAA in the spring of 2016 as a member of the AdvancEd accreditation team I fell in love with the school.
When I saw that the school was looking for a director, although I was not seeking a job, I immediately applied. Things worked out and here I am.
Lisa, continues to consult internationally and is holding down the fort in Cali Colombia which has been our home (well between international posting) for the past fifteen years.
The house is well protected by our three dogs Nova, Buddy and Petunia.
Nova is new to our home having come from a dear friend who was the school head in Manizales, Colombia for the past 8 years and has moved on to a headship in Poland.
buddy is the bad one
Petunia is the good one
