Interns arriving
Teele Rossi, Financial Manager Teele was born in Suonenjoki, Finland. Her hometown is small so she had a desire to discover the world since she was young. She moved to live alone and go to high school in another city when she was 16-years old. Since then the eager to discover other cities and countries has grown even further. When she was 20, she moved to Sweden to study Bachelor in Economics at Uppsala University.
During her studies she worked in Spain for one summer and did two exchange semesters in South-Korea and Canada. Living and traveling abroad has made Teele eager to learn about new cultures and languages. Nowadays she speaks four languages fluently and has remarkable knowledge in additional three languages. At the moment she is living in Stockholm and working as financial advisor in a bank. Besides her full-time job she even gives interviews and writes news articles occasionally as a freelance journalist.
Teele is looking forward to contribute the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce as Finance Intern. She thinks that this internship in Philadelphia will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about financial management and the Swedish-American trade relations. She believes that the internship will give her invaluable experience for further career within finance and international relations.
Beatrice Von Schilcher, Marketing Manager Beatrice is from Stockholm, Sweden. After high school she moved to Örebro to study Business Administration major in marketing, a degree she finished at Stockholm University. Alongside her studies she was involved in different student organizations where she developed knowledge in organization / event and honed her teamwork skills.
Her strong interest in exploring new countries and to get a greater understanding of cultural differences was the reason she moved abroad to work as a tour guide in Spain, Balearic- and Canary Islands. Her time in Spain gave her a deeper understanding of customer relations and improved her Spanish. After a year abroad she decides to move back home and she started working as a flight attendant at Scandinavian Airlines System. The position taught her the importance of communication, and flexibility.
The opportunity to be a part of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce will give her a better knowledge in the American business culture. It will also give her a better understanding of marketing and be an advantage when going back to Sweden to pursue new challenges.
