Dr. Nguyen Minh Son is a Prosthodontist. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Tartu( 2014- 2018). He completed the dental curriculum at the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2007. He has been a lecturer at the Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy Vietnam since 2008 and he was appointed Head of the Prosthodontic Department in 2014. His research is related to prosthodontics, community dental health, and geriatric dentistry. He currently co-operates with the Institute of Dentistry, the University of Tartu for research related to temporomandibular disorders among the Vietnamese elderly, the oral health of Vietnamese schoolchildren, and malocclusion in Vietnamese Osteogenesis Imperfecta. He was awarded the 1st award at the annual conference of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tartu, 2015 and the First prize at the National Scientific Conference in Medicine and Pharmacy for Vietnamese Young Researchers, in 2010 and 2012.
