TEL / Q6400 sector from the sub sectors-service, sales and manufac-

Quality of training was given priority by the sector and serious initiatives were taken for analyzing trainee inputs, expected outcomes and assessment. In order to ensure standardized training, Automotive Skill Development Council( ASDC) was entrusted with the Training of Trainer programme for this sector. The sector is now onto evolving with the new set target of training 4500 students in 150 batches in the coming year.
There were 120 batches in the Automotive ector with 3439 students and this sector can be titled as‘ Boys favorite’ as 89 % of students are male. Also 27.12 % share of total male candidates of
