MARRIAGE

It’s is probably more accurate to begin this article with this question: What is marriage?

Marriage has been an ideology since centuries ago. It is often described as a union between two or more individuals. Some may say it’s a union of trust or a union that just brings people together. Either way it is a union between two or more individuals.

There are also several laws and beliefs surrounding the term “marriage”. Laws and beliefs that are usually based on religious beliefs, culture, the society and various other fundamentals.

Lately in various countries for example in Africa marriage is acceptable except for same sex marriages. In a few developed countries, it is acceptable for the same sex as well as the opposite sex to be lawfully married.

So, we can conclude that marriage is still a growing process that has lasted for so many generations already and it is still on the rise.

It will take time for most underdeveloped countries to be developed like other developed countries that do accept same sex marriages. In the main time, we wait and hope for a change of the laws concerning marriage in our current government or we just relocate to a country with similar views complementary to our views on marriage.

We could also take it a step further into the government houses and make our requests known; or we could be more radical and make sure our voices are heard by protesting the current laws guiding marriage.
