An ODE To The Love Of My Life!!

fashion for me today, is all about
being comfortable in your skin !!
I love fashion because i think it
just expresses your true essence.
I don't think women should look
like costumes. They shouldn't
look like fashion victims either. I
have always loved fashion
because it is the best way to
express your moods. FASHION
NEVER STOPS; there is always
the new project, the new
opportunity.
"I'm going to be a fashion icon"
was my ultimate ambition at the
age of 9. It was the only thing that
i was obsessed with at that age,
with no realisation of what
fashion really and truely stands
for. It was simply the image of this
urban, glam chick that consumed
all of me.
Now when I look back, I realise
that my understanding of fashion
then was quite supercial. Today
after so many years my ambition
remains sacrosanct - "I'm going
to be a fashion icon". But i am not
going to do it in a cliched manner.
I have a voice that speaks for a
whole other market - not just for
high-fashion urban people. I mix
street wear with high fashion in
my own unique style - It's never
I grew up with a fashion obsessed
mother and an elder sister, so I
was exposed to fashion during my
early years. The rst thing I
remember owning was a Pierre
Cardin jumpsuit when I was 9 or
10; I fell in love with it. When I
look back today, I realise that my
love for jumpsuit was for the
happiness and emotional comfort
it provided, and less for anything
else.
I have never considered myself a
fashion designer, but I have
always had an all-consuming
PASSION FOR FASHION. Then
I was just using fashion as a way to
express my rebellious and non-
comformist nature. It was my
ambition to adapt to the vagaries
of the world I live in.

industry. And ofcourse, there are
all my followers on Instagram,
Facebook & Snapchat. I love
them all - their encouragement
drives me to keep offering
innovative yet practical fashion
advice.
I dont follow "WHATS IN" in
fashion; I just listen to myself and
move ahead with what I like. I
wait for the right occasion or
understand how i feel each day, to
decide my new Avatar for that day.
Fashion is a way to express your
feelings and your aspitations.
Not just design on an iPad.
I came across many obstacles to
reach my destination of success
but my believe was Obstacles
don't have to stop you as an
individual If you run into a wall,
don't turn around and give up.
Figure out how to climb it, go
through it, or work around it. I've
always found that anything worth
achieving will always have
obstacles in the way and you've
got to have that drive and
determination to overcome those
obstacles on route to whatever it
is that you want to accomplish.
