George Elliot- a pen name for a lady
named Mary Ann Evans who’ll do wonders
with ink and paper
George Elliot is another familiar
figure who was caught in a trap of
scandals by the media due to her
scandalous lifestyle and love-story.
The real name which is Mary Ann
sounded very feminine and may not
get too much attention from the
public due to discrimination, and
this is because the writers are
mostly dominated by male and that
is why Mary Ann decided to choose
George Elliot as her pen name.
Elliot can be said to have a
scandalous life too as she is facing
many relationships that aren’t so
