35 We are told that femininity is a danger; we are urged to be women, remain women, become women. If the term “women” was fully considered, however, we would realize that every female human being is not necessarily a woman, to be designated a woman she needs to be imprisoned by the reality of femininity. In reality, the relation of the two sexes is not such as the comparison of opposites: good-bad, light- dark, full-empty, strong-weak, right-wrong, and so on. For a man, he represents both the neutral and the positive, indicated by the common use of the word “man” and its meaning in our linguistic context; whereas the word “women” only represents the negative, without any criteria or reciprocity. When we generalize situations with people, we use masculine tenses, when we write about an imaginary, not sex binding character we tend to write it in the masculine form as well. The female is a female because of her lack of qualities-said Aristotle, “we should regard the female nature as afflicted with a natural defectiveness,” or St Thomas who described women to be ”imperfect man, incident beings.” Symbolized also in the Bible, we see Eve depicted as a product of what Bossuet called a supplementary bone of Adam. Man have displayed their satisfaction as the lords of creation. Too many historical events have resulted in the subjugation of the weaker by, the stronger. The lack of nature of historical facts, from the otherness, is absolute and true in ways that repeals possibilities for drastic changes desired today. Anti- Feminists then prove women’s inferiority through religion, philosophy, theology and science. This is so-called equality segregation, and it has resulted in the most extreme form of discrimination. When the male has a conflict with the female, sexism is turned upside down, and it is manipulated in a way where his theme will be the existing inequality, and he will even take it as a justification for denying abstract equality. So, man affirm as if in good faith that women are the equals of man and that they have nothing to agitate about, while at the same time they will say that women can never be equals of man and that their demands are in vain. Progression within gender equality will only show the face of understanding. We must discard the notions of superiority and inferiority. Equality, until now, has corrupted every productive discussion of the subject only by the context it has been used on through history. Every individual concerned to justify his existence feels that his existence involves an undefined need to transcend themselves. Individuals should be defined in terms of happiness and not so much regarding liberty. Women must live, and we should contemplate as a responsibility the difficulties in their way, trying to create an escape from the box their are assigned to by their bodies. Women will always aspire the same membership in the human race.
