The Social Impact team is committed to creating long-term value in the aviation industry and beyond by enriching the community in which we live through programs and community partnerships . Our work is centered around the themes of :

The Airports Authority established the Office of Diversity , Inclusion and Social Impact to ensure that the company represents and reflects the region that it serves . As a result , MWAA CARES was formed in 2022 to focus on implementing strategies and initiatives that impact our workforce , highlight our community outreach efforts , and promote our sustainability achievements .
One way in which we demonstrate our commitment to serving the community is through partnerships with area schools and school districts . MWAA CARES ’ School Partnerships are designed to provide resources and experiences to enrich the lives of students , as well as expose them to career opportunities within aviation . Additionally , the partnerships help students acquire the skills needed to successfully enter the workforce .
